Features
The main benefit of using our centrifuge is that we provide mechanically operated clutch system on the main centrifuge shaft itself which requires lower HP to get the same output as compared to other centrifuges. In the clutch, there will be 3 to 4 clutch shoes lined with metallic and non-metallic liners.

Basket
Perforated cage of the basket is fabricated from SS or MS sheets with inclined welded top lip plate which allows free discharge of liquid. The basket will be statically and dynamically balanced for vibration free running

Body
Outer body is made up of 2 parts: Bottom part will have suspension at 120 degrees. Top part will have a circular opening for fixing a door arrangement. On the door, feeding pipe with flange, wash pipe with flange sight and light glasses are provided

Suspension
The centrifuge is suspended on CI columns by means of suspension forged steel pins with spherical and carried in the top case iron/gun metal brush of the column and locked at the bottom of the volute chamber/drum suspension brackets. The suspension pins are spring loaded. All three columns are mounted on a mild steel base

Bearing Housing
It is made out of cast iron, machined, mounted and anchored on central raised boss of volute chamber or on the centre plate of the drum

Brakes
Mechanical hand brake with special liners

Bearing
The main bearing will be either cylindrical roller bearing or self aligning spherical roller bearing which can take radial loads. A three piece heavy duty thrust ball bearing in conjuction with taper rolling bearing or deep groove ball bearing are fitted at the centre and bottom for taking thrust and radial loads.

Transmission of Force
transmission of force from motor to main shaft by means of V-Belts through V-groove pulleys is provided

Centrifugal Clutch
Mechanically operated centrifugal clutch system will be provided on all standard centrifuges. In the clutch, there will be four clutch shoes lined with metallic/non-metallic liners.

Safety Precaution
The interlock prevents opening of the body cover while the basket is moving and the limit switch automatically cuts off the power supply to the motor
